We’re Looking For A New Parts/Service Manager!


Wayco currently has an opportunity in the Tri-city area for an experienced Parts/Service Person with extensive knowledge of forklifts / material handling equipment and services. This successful candidate will be responsible to develop and maintain relationships.

Responsibilities:

Parts

·         Responsible for all parts orders for customers, technicians and internal departments

·         Process sales orders and returns

·         Utilize company, vendor and industry resources to constantly grow knowledge of machines and their applicable parts

·         Responsible for effectively creating and processing transfer orders and creating/receiving vendor purchase orders

·         Responsible for technician inventory, stocking and ordering parts

·         Research parts solutions for customers – used, new surplus and aftermarket solutions

·         Work directly with team members and customers to fill parts needs

·         Use an inventory tracking software program to look up and track inventory

·         Take an active role in managing and maintaining inventory through cycle counts

 Service

·         Answer service calls and dispatch technicians in a timely fashion

·         Maintain adequate repair documentation, inform the customer about related costs and repair timetable to minimize the possibility of customer disputes and dissatisfaction

·         Insure all machines under PM / Safety program are current and efficiently schedule machines as needed

·         Opening and closing work orders and maintaining an acceptable work-in-process

·         Preparation of quotes for customers

·         Review timecards for accuracy and proper allocations of labor times and enter timecards

·         Provide excellent customer service for maintenance and repair requests

·         Communicate with customers and technicians thought out the day

 Qualifications:

·         Previous knowledge of forklift parts

·         Excellent customer service skills

·         Ability to multi-task

·         Sales driven with a confident “Can Do attitude”

·         Must be able to work in both a team and independent environment.

·         Computer skills – proven ability to use multiple software programs to perform daily tasks

·         Organization skills – ability to balance competing priorities

·         Forklift experience preferred, but will train
